Why does your blog no longer show up via RSS feed on Google Reader?

Because I was lazy and let my RSS feed fall out of repair. But I am about to work on it.

A question about a long-ago post

I just came upon a 2004 post of yours on the history of the English language from a Google search, and the examples you give of Old and Middle English were exactly the same examples I remember from The Tree of Language, by Helene and Charlton Laird, a book I loved as a child. Did you grow up on that too?
